Dogs are from Mars
Cats are from Venus...
translation...
Dogs are for Men
Cats are for Women...
translation...
Men are like dogs, Loyal and protective (sometimes hard to teach)
Women are like cats, Independent and you never know what they are thinking about or what they will do at any point in time (and they look all pretty and lick themselves)...
Well there you go, those are my two pennies...
BTW... Dogs rule and cats drule... LOL

one day someone will have the same sentiment towards your dog and do the same to it.
karma: what you give is what you get back.

Cats are so useless, they just eat and sleep all day. You call them, and they look lost, unless its time for them to eat. I had one as a kid, what a waste of time, although they are cleaner than dogs, Id take a dog anyday.
Dogs have a personality to them(not all dogs, some dogs are yappy and annoying). I would never trade my dog for any other pet. Although a penguin or a kangaroo might be fun pets.
To each their own I guess, some people like cats, others like dogs, some like neither. Some people just dont have the time for a dog, so they settle for a cat.

i used to work at an aquarium, trust me after looking after the penguins you will never even want to touch one.. they are by far the filthiest animals ive ever seen, they literally bend over and shit on eachothers heads! we had to clean there area 2 times a day with disenfectant cause they shit so much and it would have become a breeding ground for bacteria
ewwww they were soo nasty.. deffinitally not the cute lil penguins u see in the movies

I agree with the Penguin statemetns. I'll never forget visiting the Montreal biodome and the Penguin display was literally just covered in shit.. disgusting!
As for Pets - I HAVE NONE and grew up in a pet free home. Most people dont have enough time to properly care for their pets and they shouldn't own them. Personally I'm loving a clean pet-free home.

Cants can scratch the hood of your car, i personaly saw it happen to my old lincoln lsc saw a cat sitting on the hood, went to shoe it away, went to take a closer look, and it left me a present consisting of a few big scratches...
on another note, i heard somewhere that if you died and you where not living with anyone but your cat, that your cat will actually eat you...
dogs are much better, i had a doberman and a tabby cat as a child, (not at the same time) and when the situation is right, i will definately get another dog again, much more loyal, fun, social....
but whatever floats your boat....

u had him for only 3 years? yeah they are really great...but very needy. i bring my grey to work every day, she makes a mess in her carrier and gets dandruff all over my car...(greys are really dusty) then she eats and chews toys and anything else she can reach while she's here...huge mess...then take her home and same scene all over again there.
it's worth it though...now she's learning to whistle the theme song from "The good, the Bad the Ugly" so she's pretty cute when she does that.
