I got screwed by Concepts on Wheels..
I will never take my car to any shop for any work any more. I'm going to do it all my friggin self. You can't trust these people and what they say!
Now my car is not going to be ready on time.
Thanks for letting me vent.

They were going to be putting 7" LCD's in my head rest, and changing the black leather in the middle of the seats to blue and the headrest front and back.
They said to do the inserts on the seats and cover the head rest it will take 2 days. They also asked to bring in the head rest 1 1/2 weeks in advance because they had to add more foam and do some custom work and wanted to have it ready for when the car came in on Monday.
So i called today to ask when I can pick the car up, and they said it is not ready today or even wednesday. They have work to do on the head rests! I'm like WTF? why did i bring them in 1 1/2 weeks early?
So.... Now I can't get the car to European Autobody to have my Roof Spoiler installed, Rear Fenders pulled and to finish the grill on my rear bumper, the detail shop can't get the car to detail for the photo shoot I had setup for Friday, Plus no Wasaga cruise for me.
That is the dilli-o. I sent them a strongly worded email and cc'd a few of there suppliers and company's they deal with. the owners or important people are friends of mine. Like, Raceworld, JRP, there supplier of ARC Audio and Image Dynamics, PASMAG.
I made sure people know they pissed off this Brotha!

my car was in the stereo shop for 3 1/2 weeks when it was only suppose to take 2 weeks max to do... no big deal as long as the job is done right

I don't think u should be getting so upset over this, its not like they screwed up your car right? There are much worse things that can happen.

.... if the shop told him it would be ready on day x, but they have the car ready a week later, THAT IS A PROBLEM...
Many people cannot go a full week without a vehicle ESPECIALLY if its an important asset to them. E.I there only mode of transit, or there work.
Calling oafguy stupid for something that is not his fault, is simply retarded.
Nextly, oafguy also stated he knows the owners. I doubt any of the mechanic or technicians will try anything too his vehicle. And if they do, the whole point is the CAR IS IN THE SHOP, so if anything happens, guess who gets the blame/ pays for it?
So really youve got to complain to get it your way..
good luck with the rest of it oafguy.
