Well, there are still quite a few new wheels available. Most are only in Europe though, but companies like Tunershop sell them from the States. Plenty of 16x7.5" ET20-25 wheels, perfect for sticky rubber like 215/45 Falken RT-615's or 225/45 Hankook R-S2's. I will admit that none of them are as light or strong as your BBS' though.

on my car now i have 195/75/r14's that have to go, i have a set of 15's in my garage with no tires on them, what tire size am i looking at? i was told 205/55/r15, but is it possible that they meant 205/ 16 /r15? and will i have any problems with the speedo?

Acceptable common 15" sizes:
195/60/15
205/55/15
215/50/15
225/50/15

Probably a low ET, like around 22 or something. Check the ETK for OEM wheels and figure out the backspacing needed.
