Yes, you'll want 15mm spacers in the front and 20mm for the rear, optimally. You can get away with just a 5mm up front but the rear will be just as sunken in as your current wheels. You will need longer bolts with either setup. Shop around too, I'm starting to see hubcentric spacers with bolts going for $60-70 USD on some websites.

I didn't save anything, just sites I've stumbled on which I can't recall. You'll be fine at any ride height.

I also may be putting iX basketweaves on my E30 but I was wondering if there are any positives/negatives to using these as opposed to euroweaves (15" ET24)? Aside from the extra work and having to buy spacers and longer bolts will there be any differences in the handling, appearance, ride quality, etc?

Lining up spacers and bolts can be annoying. They add unsprung weight. Not really much more to say (considering the points 411 made also).

Buying a set of xxr 002's 16x8 et 0. Would 205/45 fr and 215/45 rr work? Or would a different size be better?

Thanks

Matt

They fit terribly, and aren't made for E30s. Buy a +15 XXR wheel.

3mm minimum front spacers to clear the struts. Just a minor fender roll in the back.
