i like the low profile look but i don't really want to watch out for every sewer or pot hole on the road. what size rubbers?
15mm spacers, 67.1mm -> 57.1mm hubcentric rings, longer wheel bolts.

205/50/16 or 225/45/16 tires. With the latter, you may have to roll the rear fender lips. They both have the same sidewall height, so the ride will be the same.

hey guys,

what are the avg costs of the hub. ring, spacers and longer bolts?

will i be able to pick them up at the local tire shop since i'm only gonna order the rims?

1 more thing...... i took a look at 18racing.com and they have the 16x8's et20 like yours. are those a direct fit or do my fenders need to be rolled? (if so where'd you get yours done?)

thanks again for the help.

willy

I would go with the direct fit wheels if i had the choice, you save a few $$ bcus spacers are expensive, but your options are limited

but direct fit wheels for our cars are getting harder and harder to find.

Also if the cabrios have the higher rear arches, you may not rub as much as chrome.

are the 16x8s et20 considered a direct fit?

so what do you guys suggest then the 16x8s or go with the 16x7s and throw in the spacers? ........$spacers=$200????

i won't be able to stand the rubbing. i had oversized tires on my truck and it drove me nuts.

spacers for a decent set is like $400 and the price of bolts too

yeah the 16 x 8 are perfect fit. i believe they have 15 x 8 avaliable too

also imagine the pain of always having to line up the spacers when putting on wheels.

so go with the 16x8s (i like the 16s) and just go with a 215 tire? and the rest will fit just fine. (no rubbing. has to be no rubbing.)

If you want no rubbing guaranteed, go with a 205/50/16 tire. What are you using the car for?
