Thats because it is an STI thats the whole point. If someone wanted a sleeper they could get a civic w/h22a engine. You pay good money to have an STI not a pretender.

i dont know if a) getting your car vandalized b)being pulled over by police all the time c) ricers trying to race you amongst other things is such a great idea.

Theres actually alot of STi owners taking it off/replacing it with other wings.. its a pretty damn wing....

but yeha.. id leave it on!!! im an attention whore

Then it really does come to personal preference. It is possible that a,b, and c may happen but Im willing to bet the kind of person that buys an STI is because of its cache as a world championship rally racer and and are not shy about purchasing a car that shows its heritage.
Its not the kind of car where you hack it up to make it a sleeper. If you want a sleeper just buy a regular WRX and put a bigger turbo/intercooler and more psi in it and debadge it.

This, of course, is just my personal opinion, but I HATE imprezza's without the wing, its like the trunk was designed to incorporate a wing, and there just looks like something missing without it.
