UUC Evo III short shift kit E46
Has anyone installed this shifter in a E46?
Your thoughts? Did you compare to Rogue product?

Hi Suicide. Does the shifter get "notchier" from stock? What differences from stock do you notice? I should probably give it a try before I buy. I would also like to try the Rogue product as well.
I'm baby sitting my buddies Acura RSX Type S for 3 weeks as he is travelling in Asia. I I luv the close gears shifts on the car. I drive a 2002 325i. What kind of costs would I be looking at? Does it void your BMW warranty? Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks.

I got mine installed at Cross Avenue Auto.
Call em up at 905 845 0666 and tell them Andrew recommended you.
They'll give you an estimate. I forget how much I paid...

They totally suck at the beginning, stiff as hell. After about 500KM they loosen up nicely but will require more effort than stock. Its a good mod, but the stock shifer is nice aswell.

I thought the beginning was the best!!
That was the time when the shifts felt the shortest!

The beginning, the shifter is extremely stiff and un responsive.
