Paint Job???

Hey guys, i'm looking to paint my car. I just got my new kit from Filip and i need to paint the whole car. I need a real good price, kinda straped. I went to a guy the other day and he quoted me $3200. for the whole car. Way to much. HELP ME!!!!

you know what ....that sounds just about right. $3000....
If you get a paint job for like a 1000 i guarantee you It might look ok but the quality and workmanship will be horrible..trust me I work at a body shop...I know....the things they do. .You get what you pay for ..dont ever forget that..

Yeah i know, but i was looking for more like $2500.

Yes, you are right that you get what you paid for!!!! Almost any body shop can do a good job if you pay them well!!!(unless they are real idiots!). But I think for a good paint it should be between $2-3K...and your car doesnt need that much anyways....

if i coulda paid more for my paint job I would have

you get what you pay for My first quote was 3600, my car was done for 1800 andit looks good, but if u look hard enuff i can see shit, and my drivers door got a lil dent in it and it went right down to the primer (im gonna see them about that soon)...

i say u should got for around 2200-3000

I can hook you up in my friends body shop.
My cars been painted there, I guess I can hook you up
for around 2100. look at my car.

I Beg to differ on this subject....

My first paint job costed me $5,000... not including my body work.... for a 3 stage paint....

In the Spring I got a new bumper and had to get my whole car re-painted because my paint is un-matchable (even with the Sherwin Williams Scanner)

But I went to a body shop in Niagara Falls called Advantage and they will do full colour changes for about $1200....

He was able to match my colour perfectly by fooling around with some colours and the old paint codes...

He has painted the Infamous -Keith Losier's car (Kandy Blue TALON) and many others known to the car scene...

Up in toronto, body shops can charge anything....

are u kidding me!? the car looks cheap!! lol jks..yea his paint job is nice...but who really goes up close to check out paint while the car is like in the parkin lot? most of the time u jus look at it and go oh thats nice..unless ur car is a show car..u dont need to spend ur months pay on a paint job...jus go for midrange
