Anyone know what model a square light e30 is



Hey guys last night i saw an 87-89 3 series.. from the side it looks like any other 2 door e30.. however it had square lights... any one ever see one of these.. this is my first and i never knew they existed.. i have a pic but its on my gf's cam phone.. ill get her to email it to me later..

yah exactly.... is that some other model.. or a specific year? the one i saw was red and had white basket weave's(gm term) .. just wondering.. or is aftermarket?

from what I remember . . . they mod it to fit the square headlights.

I don't think BMW's came with square headlights . .

I don't know why but I kinda like them, they look meaner then round headlights.
For the longest time, I thought they were just US spec headlights, when I moved here I was surpriced none of the cars had them.

yah i thought something similar, either us spec, or just some after market, the pic posted in this thread it looks sketchy... the one that I saw on the red one looked semi nice, i dont know why it looks alot better than the black... and yah guys sorry no pic of the red one, my gf's cam phone doesnt have email for some reason.

(i think the guy owns bakers dozen at ellesmere and midland)

I saw a SLAMMED red one with the same headlights a few months back at Milner/Markham. Sound similar? Asain woman driving it IIRC.
