post(after) - May1st auto X thread

Hey Guys,

Thought I'd start a new thread since it would be more appropriate. Good to
see more Max members coming out to the monthly runs. I personally think my performance today was not very good. Although, from what I'm told, I did make a 57s+ run BUT hit 4 PYLONS - yes, I got my money's worth there! My last run required the use of wipers!! I got hit with some rain. Oh well. Still had a blast burning rubber though!

85eta - you got a nice birthday present today. Nice 54s+ run(??!)!
03 Dinan - saw you post a 55-56s+ run sweet!
MarkD - as usual, nice seeing the M5 beast negotiate those turns
Empowered - what can we say? seeing a SMART auto-x'ing? Incredible!
Just325is - leave the Accord at home - bring the E36! still did well!
///MP - excellent pylon work!! start running that M3 would ya?!
Jazz - can you change your name to 'loud'? nice runs!
Lobo - that car's fast.
E34green - car sounds great!!

I know I missed some members. Sorry.

Cool to see the many 'couples' that came out and actually let their 'Significant' others run too!! Very cool! Honest.

Definitely a tougher course than the last one.

Hope to see more Max guys at the next one.

Thanks Rico, glad to see you out there too... It was a blast. I loved seeing that 85eta go, amazing driving and negotiating of the turns.

Randy, what are you going to bring to the next one? I have a gasoline remote control car, I wonder how good it would do? LOL

I'll bring ear-plugs for everyone next time... hehe. Maybe I'm used to it but from the cabin it doesn't seem too loud at WOT.

Hey rico,
By 03 Dinan, do you mean the steel grey dinan 3? If so, I can't believe I was that fast...
BTW, what kind of car did 85eta have...was that the old 3 with the race cage and Hartge badge?

I had a friggen blast today even tho I only had time for 2 runs...But I'll get my money's worth the next 10 rounds!

Like I said in the other thread, I have about 38 pics worth posting, but I would hate to have to resize all of them, so do you guys know a site where I can upload them to?
Thanks!

LOL... at least you don't need to resize them...

She took a lot of pictures of other cars this time as well, can't wait to see those ones which you're uploading as well as the movies.

BTW, if the movies need to be put online I can optimize them and host them on my T1

I actually only have a video of my car... Today was new for me so I was interested in watching and learning the other members take the course.
I don't think I even got pics of your car either!! I didn't have enough time to repark my car and get my camera set up so that's why I only have some shots of the same cars...
8 minutes...

After watching all of you run, it's so hard to hold off to not autocross like the past two seasons. You're all tempting me to do it once this year even if I have to pay for the annual membership (which I think isn't worth it if I only go once). I guess "once" shouldn't be an overkill to the tires

Oh well, watch out for the big silver cruiser of mine next time. I'm going to knock as many cones as possible!

I enjoyed seeing Randy get more pissed everytime Steve layed down a faster lap LOL. I believe the quote was "WHAT........54.2?!?! That's it I'm going to tackle him and break his right ankle!" haha, none the less I had lots of fun. Maybe I'll participate in the next one instead of being a spectator. Except I'll probably never complete a full lap.......I'll get lost lol.
