I heard in europe that smart cars hold the value very well due to the cheap on gas and very easy to park and get around... Nice choice Randy !

Thanks for the props guys. Had a blast this morning at the autocross with it. Everyone thought it was going to tip. I managed to get it on 3 wheels several times.

"3)"How's the gas mileage???" Awsome. It'll average 3.5L/100km (about 70mi/gal) around town... slightly less on the highway (aerodynamic brick). For those not good with numbers, that means $15 diesel gets me around 450km (tank size is 22L)"

This is all that would matter to me.

For gas millage i would rather have a Golf TDI...still gets about 4.5L/100km, in a normal size car, with room for 5 and a trunk...and a tank of diesel gives you 900-1000Km range...

Non the less, the Smart is a nice toy, i would buy one if i lived downtown where parking is a problem, or if gas gets to $2/L like in europe...

Damn, I didn't realize that either. Here I am driving around thinking my 8L/100km is good.
