Mercedes Air Conditioning

Hey. My parent's 2002 Mercedes C Class's air con is messed up. When you turn it on, it smells horrible for a minute or so! How do we fix this? The dealership said there's not much you can do. WTF?????

change the cabin filter one. go to crappy tires and buy a spray to get rid of the odor

"there's nothing much you can do"???? is that wat they said. i dont believe you! if some MB idiot said it in one of our dealerships... wow.. .its wouldn't be pretty.

ya, the dealership said they couldn't do anything about it. My dad asked during the regular maintenance visit.
