For me, its more of a passion than anything... (job and hobby) from server deployents, LAN design, etc.... to AS400 (iSeries). my latest proj. was deploying an IBM BladeCenter w/ FC SAN along with a Cisco 4510R Core... gotta luv the hardware!
Hey JazzM, now i know who to contact when i have SQL issues...

dude you should call me - I've got some great pricing on Bladecentre stuff. We're a huge IBM partner.
I've recently started dealing with one other member of the board (won't say, in case this said person doesn't want me to say) and I think I've impressed him with our pricing.

Deep323, i normally get bid pricing for IBM equipment, but send me a pm with your email for any future bids. i tend to hold off till year end when IBM is giving their stuff away...

Haha, you can throw my name out anytime you want Deep. I'm impressed so far, just got my packages today,
Safe to say i'll be placing more orders through you dude.. If you're lucky we'll be opening up a new location and might need a shitload of new servers\workstations, hopefully oyu're gettin good commision.

We actually beat bid pricing alot of the time...
The nice thing about us is that our prices are accessible all year round, so you don't get hosed when you need the odd PC or server option.
Which FC Drives did you go with for the blade? External Storage? FastT700?

sounds good... i'll definitely send u an email on my next IBM order... as for storage, i started with a FastT600 (14x146GBSCSI) w/ 2 H16 Brocade Switches...

Which drives does that one take? didn't look it up...
Isn't the FastT600 FC-FC instead of SCSI over FC?
