Yes that's the downside if you have to fix only 1 side. Replace both and it's somewhat ok. picky picky =)

If you every get over to the UK go to Halfords (like Crappy tire). They've got "stick ons" designed for the E30, blue tinted and with dual zone surfaces to elliminate those blind spots.

buy it and let us know in 5 years.

but seriously, peeling off is the least of your worries if you have a broken side mirror. it should be fine. buy it and use 3M dbl sided tape if you dont trust their tape.
