Always found driving across easiest. I pre-order what I need, ship it to a motel( i'm well known there now). Drive across to 'see the sights' of Buff' for a night and drive back next day. Worth it when its expensive stuff

Sorry I've no experience on crossing the boarder myself. Is it tough to get across the boarder (from Buffalo back to TO) without letting the customs know about the taxable stuff in ur car?
Are customs = assholes that they'll dig every inch of ur car to look for taxable goods?
