Question Wood interior on 540...can it be replaced!?!?

...with brushed aluminum, just like in 3 series?

Do they even make these pieces in brushed aluminum?
I've seen it in carbon fiber (or titanium or whatever it's called) but I don't want that...

After seeing RickN's ride last night (silver 330 with aluminum interior accents), I've decided it's time for a change

Yes it can. You can buy the trim off the dealer though expensive but there is brushed aluminum trim available.

I would suggest trying to find a set on sale on ebay or other forums, even checking out salvage yards before spending the big bucks on the dealer.

For dealers here;s the titanium look. Double the prices and then convert to canadian to get a rough estimate.

I priced out the same trim from a M5, retail it's about $1300 plus taxes, if the dealer would give you a discount it will come out to be $1000 plus taxes, it's one of the things on my to do list

it's exactly the same, the price would be different if you have navi or not, the price I listed above is without navi, if you have navi than you would need one piece less

if you come out to the meet tonight I'll show you how it's done

My 528i has the black graphite trim on a black interior. I thing it's a cleaner look. I wish the headliner was black.
I have seen a few trim sets on ebay over time and they won't cost you $1G.

OK, My cousin (works for BMW) brought home a Cooper S. The interior of that is the opposite extreme of our Old Man's E39...
