The viper was PLAYING with you. 1100hp and breaking 355 wide rears... He's still going to rip you a new one cheek to cheek.
It's hard to believe that a 400Hp z06 over 3000 pounds would beat a 375pound bike with 106hp. I have raced Vipers and Z06 both on my 2002 GSXR 600 and my wife's 2003 R6, those cars had no chance at all. Having said that, not to many people know how to race motorcycles. However we are talking about street racing and as we all know anything is possible.

I use to walk R6's, GSXR 750's, etc., from a roll with my lowly Talon. I don't see how your R6 would be side by side with a car making over 1000hp. He was just toying with you.

Good fun none the less.

Yup.

Either:

a) He's full of $hit that he has 1100 HP....which is the likely case....

b) He was playing with you.

1100 HP Vipers are no joke.
From a roll, it'll eat a relatively stock 1000cc bike alive. A 600cc wouldn't stand a chance.
Remeber that bikes get great times on the quarter b/c of their great launch.
From a highway roll, they're not as unbeatable as they're quarter times would suggest.

All depends on what year the bikes were, todays 600cc are faster then most
1Ltr bikes from 7 or 8 years ago. The 2000 GSXR 750 is rated 0-100-0Mph in 6.5 seconds I don't think there are to many cars that can hit the same numbers. Best 1/4 mile times for a 1999 Ninja zx6 9.98sec I haven't seen to many street cars achieving those numbers on the street, race track is different. Also the weight factor, bikes are very prone to weight. I gained over 40 pounds in weight my 1/4 mile times on my bike were .05 sec more.

I tend to agree, bikes are not as aerodynamic as cars, as the speed increases they tend to slow down.

Couldn't really tell you what years they were. However, they looked to be of newer designs. For the record, my car trapped around 130mph off the spray, never ran it at the track with the 150shot.

m3polack, no one is talking about 1/4mile.
Sure a 600cc has advatage over a stock z06.
But from 120km/h-240km/h Z06 definitly will eat 600cc

Listen man than that R6 was just toying with you, i know cause my cousin who had one and now has a 2004 GSXR-1000, and if you watch Mischeif Invasion Dado's Yellow M3 just beats one so i dont think ur talon can take one. And for the R6 i dont think the R6 but a new GSXR-1000 or Hyabusa GSXR-1300 would keep up to it

I tend to disagree. Why may you ask? Very simple I have raced Vipers, ZO6 Corvettes, C5 Corvettes, 360 Ferrari even a Lamborghini from 100Kmh all the way up to 260Kmh on my 600cc bikes. All of the vehicles were at least 3 to 4 bus lengths behind me. I slowed down and the cars kept going the reason I slowed down is that after 260Kmh they wore going to rape me but bad.
Try that with a 1 Ltr bike like GSXR 1000, Yamaha R1, Honda CBR or even the Ninja ZX10R you won't have a prayer in a car. That's just my experience with my bikes everyone else is different. Having said that I'm sure that there are modified cars out there that can beat motorcycles.
As far as Dado goes, during the race the bike had at least 4 or 5 car lengths on Dado and Dado caught up and passed the R6. You can see in the shot the bike actually slowed down way before Dado even came close.

I don't think a guy fully tucking until 270km/h is "playing" with me. I killed enough bikes in that car, and I know what it could do. I have a hard time believing that an R6 is going to beat a 600+whp Talon from a roll (Sprayed). And in the end, the guys on the bikes always gave me a thumbs up for the run.

P.S. A close friend of mine also has an R6, we are running in the summer. I will be sure to video tape it.

And I just looked around for R6 times, and they all seem to be low 11's high 10's.
