They turned out to be good street tires.... but for autocross I've never heard anything chirp as much as these. Remember when you were a little kid and you had a "Big wheel", the trike's that had a huge front wheel... which was made of plastic (as well as the rears).. well, it felt like that for the autocross.

I wish I had my old BF Goodrich KDW's (they were simply amazing for street and autocross). I've also heard that the new Michelin PS2's are good.

when I see cords = new tires.... donuts anyone?!

I dunno, you really were hustling fast through some parts, especially the chicane close to the parking area. Did they really feel that bad?

I noticed that you were also going through the first slalom quite fast too! How long have you had the Conti's on? How many k's on them? In general, I haven't heard to many good things about Conti's! I know they came standard on many BMW's, but it's not common for the driver to buy them again. BTW - nice looking car. Quite rare to see, especially one doing something like Auto-x'ing.

I have also heard nothing good about continentals! I've heard they do not have much grip and that they wear out fairly quickly. The Michelin's are always a good choice, but what about Bridgestone S03's? I think they are around the same price and I have heard nothing but good things about them. I had them on my Mini (OK, stop laughing) and I thought they were a really nice tire.
