The 2005 Window Tint Groupbuy

OK, first off is the prices (these prices are all inclusive... nothing hidden, cash paid in advance, nothing extra on top).

5 Vehicles
$200 for a 4 door.
$150 for a 2 door.

10+ Vehicles
$190 for a 4 door.
$140 for a 2 door.

Payment will be made in advance. I can arrange a meet to collect the money at 7 & Weston road (where all the meets are) or feel free to drop by my place which is 1 major intersection north of there. Payments will be collected this weekend, and if we get 5 people the tinting will take place on Saturday April 9th. If there's more people then we'll also include Sunday April 10th.

Pick your own shade of tint. Anything lower than 35% on the front drivers windows will require you to sign a waiver since its not exactly legal. Tint used is 3M titanium. If you want ceramic go pay $700 at the mercedes dealership.

Lifetime warranty through the shop and I know the owner and his brother personally. They tint their own personal cars, they'll be tinting mine so yes, I trust them and back them up 100%. The shop does a lot of industrial stuff such as Rogers vehicles, paving and other construction companies. The owner has been tinting cars for 15 years. They also do: detailing, sunroofs, glass/window replacement/repair, rockchip repair, spoiler installation, vehicle graphics, and engine detailing.

you didn't answer my question from the other thread. will the tint cover the full windows that go down or will they be cut off a cm from the edge of the window?

Think I'm in for a tint! probably 35% all around on my 4dr. If you still want, the drill's sitting in my trunk still!!!!

I DO want and I saw the bulbs yesterday and was actually wondering what was going on with that lol.

Looks like we are getting the same tint! I cant wait.

I just called them and the only gaps will be on windows that go up/down. They will have to have a SMALL gap that is unnoticeable.

Also, they're offering $30 stone chip removal for anyone getting tinted.

i don't see how any gap can be unnoticable, i know it will be when the windows are rolled up but when its rolled partially down you'll definately see the untinted part. It's the same thing on my Civic. I'm sure all tinters have to do this and if that's what I'm stuck with then fine, but if your claiming it won't be noticable then I'm in after you guys show some pics. I've had bad experiences with tinters.

I never thought about when the windows are down.

I spoke with the guys that do the tinting and you cant avoid it. The small gap prevents the tint from getting snagged when the window is put up. They said its not noticeable when the windows are up but you will see a tiny gap when down. Apparently this is just the way its done, cant get around it unless you dont want your tints to last

will they go purple?
also do they use 1 piece at the back or 2?
