the hemi 300C is over rated, they dyno more like 255-270whp which is around 300-320hp crank

the torque also dynos like 280 300wtq. around 340torq crank

people over on 300c.com are averaging mid 14s with the 4000lbs boat in their autos.

540 6spd > hemi

540 auto vs hemi = drivers race

on the hwy, the hemi should fall behind

now the srt8 is mid low 13sec 400hp car, also only costs 50k MSRP

Apparently, you can get a free ipod if you test drive a Jeep GC...I wonder if it applies tot he 300 too?

Got me worried for a moment?
I drove one a few months back, they are great cars, however it doesn’t pull like the 540I at high rpms.

damn 540s, all the dynos ive seen on this car were severely under rated.....

like 260-285whp stock, thats y it pulls soo well for boat.

crank its rated at 282-290hp?

while the "claimed" hemi has 340hp, dynos about same, if not less than the 540, and american cars r generally not geared soo much for top end

There's no such thing as a Hemi 300M only the 300C, Magnum R/T, Jeep GC and Ram 1500 has the hemi, the idiot probably just stuck the sticker on it. 300M is just a 3.5 V6, just a fancy intrepid
