Question Tire pressure?!?!

What are you guys running? What's it supposed to be (on a 540i)?

Car is riding like $hit in the past couple days and when i checked the pressure, it was all over the map.

BTW, I'm running 235/45/17 (Winter) Pirellis...

Well, every tire/rim combo is a little different. I have 235/35/19 and i fill them up to 40 all around for my reg driving. They were down all the way to 25 when i just took the car out of storage. Not sure what yours is "supposed" to be at. Maybe someone with the same combo can help.

Wait, i had 235/40/17 on my E36 and also had 40 in them.

mine went down to 28 in the front left, and 30 in the front right...
40 seems bit high, or no???

I have them at 32 now and i'm not happy at all....guess I'll just keep going up and see what happens....

Go by what is posted on the drivers side door pillar. On my 528i with max load it states 41psi rear, 36psi front. I usually run a few psi under that as my car is rarely loaded up.

Exclamation 40 = Too high

Low to mid 30's would be more accurate.
