e36 glass sunroof?!?!
has anyone ever seen an e36 with a glass sunroof, I've been looking to either swap the metal sunroof for a glass one, if I can find one that is, I've looked at cutting a hole in the original sunroof and putting in a glass peice, but I'd rather ask on here to see if anyone has done something like this before or knows of someone that has!

Someone on the board(I can't remember his name) got a custom one done for him somewhere in the GTA area, and it came out nice. Hopefully he posts so you can get the details.

yep it's Razkal320 who has it. here his original posts. http://www.maxbimmer.com/forums/show...light=moonroof it does look even better in person, it just looks like it was always there.
i think it was around $1300-$1500 u might have to pm him for details

did he originally have a metal sunroof and just swaped it for a glass peice or did he have a whole new sunroof put in after market! Cause I already have a metal one, I just want to change the metal to glass, I already rigged the underneith cloth part to slide back freely, and now all I need is a peice of glass....

oh ok, sweet, hopefully, did you drive the car down to michigan to get it done? I looked at the last posts and you said you got it done at infra?! is there anyone in the GTA that would be able to do it?!

NO no, the install company is near Dixie and 401. The sunroof manufacturer is in Europe

Oh haha, that a little better, you dont have their number by any chance?! thanks for the info anyways man!!! I asked a couple companies around here if they could do it and no one wants to attempt it, but now I got some hope haha!
