For one, you have an inline 6 that taked more gas than a V8 vette engine. Now tell me you don't see something wrong with that.

are you sure about that? Anyways, at least the BMW's won't spend half their lives in a garage.

True.

Didn't pay a gas guzzler tax on my Vette, where I did on my M3.

Never quite understood how the S54 I6 drinks more than a LS6 V8....

But at the end of it all, gas mileage doesn't factor in when I'm buying a sports car.

What brings you to that assumption?

But to answer your question, I wish I did.

I think he means that the vettes are purely summer driven. But the bmw can be driven year round.

Year around with winter tires. Atleast my car anyway. Without tires, it doesn't move an inch in the snow.

Really?

I found my Vette has had fewer problems than my X5.
Actually, my Vette’s been perfect so far.

And I drive the living $hit out of my Vette......

I'd be willing to bet some good $$$ that if I subjected my E46 M3 to what I've done with my Vette, it'd be in the shop for something major by now.

It's become obvious that BMW's quality's been slipping over the past several years. I know quite a few people with current BMW's and more often than not, I'm hearing of nagging issues we only used to see in Domestics years ago. Half the reason why I bought a Magnum and not an E46 3 series recently.

Don't be too quick to assume. It only reflects negatively in your current lack of knowledge in the subject.

The E46 M3 has had a number of engine problems unfortunately; rod bearings and what not.
