RevShot... will this fit an auto 94 318i? I'm in desperate need of one.. let me know as i will grab this if it will give me the same or even better performance then the current one I have now (which is messed up anyhow)

i belive u will need new axles (from a 6 cylinder model) to make this work with a 318, dont quote me im not positive!

this rear end having the gearing will make your car quicker and pull harder off the line, but you will redline a lot sooner then with your stock rear end

just noticed yours is auto.... i think an auto 318 came with a 4:56 rear end or something, so this rear end will actually make you a bit slower off the line, but you will increase top end speed and better milage on the highway

ill check about the axles, btw i can install it for you too

shit .. so it'll make me slower off the line? ****kkk that i'm already slow as it is off the line lol ... thanks anyhow though .. i'm going to find out for sure if it will slow me down just to confirm.

and thanks for the offer of installing it but I have a mechanic shop so i'll be fine with the install

offer is to anyone who wants it

$150 or $350 installed


currently it is set up to be a direct swap into an M car

(6 bolt drive shaft flange and M output flanges for the axles) can be removed and non M ones can be used


Kal, measure the space on your sub frame where the differential slides into, im pretty sure this diff to too big to fit your subframe, measure the box in the sub frame and the distance between the "ears" of the differential (the 2 mounting spots of the diff)
