Installing power/heated seats in a non powered car

I picked up powered/heated seats for the front but when I tried to install them today I ran into some big problems. First, my 318i does not have any wires running for the power option or the heat for that matter. I can install the seats no problem, but can't adjust them. I put them in and my face was inches away from the windshield and my chest touching the steering wheel!
How or what do I need to do to make the power option useful? Is there a way to manually adjust the seats until I can figure out what to do with the power lines needed?? Any help would be great because I have sold my original seats. Please help me.......

well I can adjust it for you if you give me enough time to figure out the wires & which motors it runs, then I can use the car battery & move the seat to the position you want

All i know is that i bought a pair of oem auto-fold mirrors for my E46, and also ran into some major problems. Before buying them i was aware that i am missing wires, etc, but thought that i can by-pass this. Well it was next to impossible to do so, and ended up selling the mirrors. Unfortunatly some of the components are not all prewired. Best of luck to you...hope theres a way.

I'm not sure how it works on BMW, but I work on Benzs & if you don't have the wiring harness or control module for the power seats this would be impossible, but like I said before I can still set your seat to 1 position & you would have to leave it like that

The seats have the buttons for control and the wires are under the seats. I just don't have any wires to run from my car to the seats. If the seats can be set to one position that is fine. I just need to get them in for now so I drive my car. Let me know Clarence.

There is a fuse. I found the wires for the power option. I took positive and negitive wires from the battery and moved the seats around.
Now I need to know what awg wires I need to run for them. I will need a relay and and a fuse...right? Any ideas?
