I dont know the name of the shop, but key cutting place in pacific is only few so.. you wouldnt have problem finding one. No bmw logo just the black plastic cover and the key itself.

the E36 has the chip inside ... i took mine out and messed with it ..
it varies by the year. My key came with light but not chip. I took apart the key(took out the light part, plastic), and couldnt see any chip or electric stuff for that matter unless the "chip" was planted inside the metal peice of the key, which then would be impassible to see.
