My New Whip, not a bimmer, but German!
Well, I sold my e30, it was becoming just to expensive on maintenance, and I wanted something newer.
I bought a 1997 Jetta GLX VR6
Got a few mods already:
Neuspeed Catback exhaust
Eibach Pro-kit
Bilstein Yellows
It is really clean and drives very nicely!
Cheers

Nice car, but if you think the E30 was expensive on maintenance, just wait till you start servicing the VR

I worked at VW, the VR6 was the best engine by far. The car has already had these items replaced:
Brakes
Tires
Heater Core
Coil Pack
Ignition wires
Front window regulators
Water Pump
Plugs
Coolant temp switch
Wiper linkage
and more, can't remember everything, I have the receipts. It is a one owner car and all the parts replaced were OEM.
VR can be expensive, but luckily the problematic stuff has been done!
The car sounds really nice, the exhaust is really nice, very high quality, dead quiet at idle but throaty at WOT.

I'd like to add to the crowd, the VR6 is one of the best sounding engines ever made. Nice buy, looks to be in great condition man.

Nice car but just knock on wood there are no problems! Any plans for the car in the future?
I don't know why I like this kit so much (minus the wing and stickers).....maybe it is because it looks like a BTCC.

Thanks for the comments guys.....It is a really clean car and the car really does sound nice!
First thing I want to do is tint the windows and then we'll go from there!
