Stock Speakers Blow!

No no... they literally do BLOW - I've blown two since I installed my Pioneer deck (45w), and I don't even listen to the music that loud. What wattage are the stocks in a 95 325i E36?

I think I'm going to do a full upgrade of the speakers, so does anyone know which are the best to get? I figure the higher the wattage the better the speakers, no?

What brand is best? Which fits in the stock spaces the best?
