Although you are right in a way, you are also wrong in a way. Let's say someone makes jeans with the same cut and style as CK, but for midgets. They are knockoffs because they have the same cut and style, but different fitment and name. But they aren't direct copies which makes them an adaptation or "inspired by" type of deal, which is cool in my books . Take it easy fil, your stuff looks great and don't worry much about what others think.

yah relax. Knockoff might come off as derogatory, but it really isn't.

You must also agree then, by your definition, that you do in fact make some knockoffs - your front IS lip replica, Reiger lip replica, M-tech II kit replica. So why are you so critical when someone calls your M3 look-alike sideskirts a knockoff? Essentially, it is a knockoff - seeing as the original M3 skirts weren't made for the E30s, you adapted its design to fit the E30 correctly, right?

You people are arguing with different conceptions of 'knockoff', so you will never get anywhere.

Jordan has a right to post his opinion. If you don't agree then just say so and lets move on.

OT: Luke is the thread starter. I personally think the thread starter should have some control over their thread (kind of a junior moderator for one's thread). Anyways, I like the twist skirts on E30's and I also like Jordan's car.

Actually it was not a spelling error, but a common grammatical error. This particular error is a pet peeve of mine.
