ABS Smokeshow

Before I switched to snows, I wanted to finish off my Pirelli Supersports. I decided that a Brake Stand was in order. So I pressed on the brake, and used my heel to gas it. As soon as I popped the clutch, the ABS started to kick in. I wasn't expecting that, so I let up. I tried a second time....same thing. Anyone else try this with their ABS, RWD car?

I've done it in my car, no ABS feedback while doing it.
I tried it on 2004 CLK500 and had the same problem, not sure how to avoid it.
Here is me and Bruce doing it for the first time

It was ABS light, and it happens on a lot of car when ABS gets confused. And it wasnt even 5min, we just had to restart the car

ya my e30 had ABS and i could do nutty breakstands (sorta gravely pavement)
Stomp on the clutch and gas..drop the clutch, same foot slam on the break..keep both gas and break down... and smeel the rubber

THAT's THE ANSWER!!!! If I can get the ABS to "fault out", then it's shut down!! THANK YOU !!!THANK YOU!!!!

Too bad my tires are already gone ...wahhhhhhhhh

BTW...When I got it e tested, the ABS faulted out because the front wheels were not turning, while the rears were on the dyno.
