Cool. Looks good.

Are you gonna start making splitters to fit these front lips?

I must say I am genuinely impressed by this. Excellent work.

How is the fit ON car though, I'm interested.

Did you ever doubt me!

The fit on the car depends on how good the valence is....on 95% of the cars i see they are bent to sh#t...But other then that, its the same as the original would...

The only thing stopping me is the $250 and 6 weeks waiting time! I can make the flat one at anytime tho...

Hey Fil, I posted about your lips on r3v if you wanna check it out. A recent replica buy on there went very sour.

http://www.r3vlimited.com/phpBB2/vie...&postorder=asc

2nd and 3rd page.

Looks good, but still no love for the early bumper crowd.

Dam! That sucks! But on the other hand, body parts are not made to be run over with a car!!! So even a stock IS lip would have a lot of damage in this situation... What is really dissapointing is the amount of prep this lip needed before install...I still dont understand why the hell they needed a 2 piece mold of it (which makes for more bodywork on finished product)...

The picture above (of my lip) is unpainted, just as when it came off the mold...No need for ANY bodywork, and if it was to be painted, simple wetsanding and primer is engaugh...

I wonder how many people would be interested!? The fitment will be guaranteed to be the same as OEM, and i can also have the rear re-fitteed for the 84-87 E30!!!
I would be down for a set. 100%. I will need to find a late model front valence though, but it's all good.

btw... if you made bolt on plastic bumpers for pre88 cars. you'd be sitting on a goldmine as long as they were fairly low cost for these cheap ass e30 owners.

Even if they were a little more expensive than used, i think everyone would jump on it.

Also, where can I find a facelift front valence?

The problem with used is that A: they are hard to find. B: not always perfect. C: they dont fit pre 88...

Hmm, from what I read around on r3v (and asked) all the modification needed is to cut off the tow hooks.

Front YES, rear...not so much!...its too long for pre 88...so it has to be cut on the side, or extended along the rear. Both cases involve working with plastic, which is hard...The rebar also sits lower...
