Thermostat / Tech Max Auto

Ok so i definately need a new thermostat in my car (96 328i) ... so i dont wanna end up at the dealerhship doing it spending $$$...does anyone have a rough price of how much it is to replace at a decent shop.... and does anyone have any good contacts to bmw shops that do very good work and very comparible to a dealership....

i just changed my thermostat and it cost me about 20 bucks for the thermostat and a gallon of coolant because i did it myself. just to get an idea of cost, canadian tire charges minimum $69 for labour on thermostat, plus cost of thermostat.

thanks...is it hard to replace it yourself cuz i have noooooooo clue
