it loooks to be 1 of two things
1) FULL ACS pkg that was purchased and installed after.
2) authentic ACS car.(doubt it)

Its a couple horsepower short of being a true ACS car... however you'd never be able to buy an E34 and all those ACS goodies for less than $6000. I'd say its a deal if you can offer him $5000 - $5500.
But be aware, E34's are high maintenance.. be prepared to drop another $2000 in suspension/maintenance work.

I used to be...  lol
we figured out that this car was just kitted and badged like the real deal ACS S5... basically a ricer... or whatever you guys call the German equivalent... heh

Just because your 525 was a lemon, doesn't mean the rest are. My dad's car is still going fine. No engine work needed. all we did was oil and brakes (but that's cuz I didn't drive it the whole winter, and the brakes rusted out)
