diff?!?!

i do more around town, and autoX, prety much stock engine,

i run a m3 4.1/1, with spool. the car can still do 135mph though.

plan on building a 2.8 stroker with around 8psi boost, then changing to a 2.?/1 gears.

depending on what you do with the car will determine what you needs.

hey all i have an E30 325is stroker.. i bought a 3.45LSD it had a rebuilt badge on it from BMW SA so i was hoping it was a 4.10LSD.... my car is running crap..rich needs a tune, but my question is would i benefit from putting the 3.45LSD in??

i have a 3.91 open at the moment..i want better acceleration
and economy...should retune my car first!

You will get better fuel economy, but not much for acceleration unless you have traction issues. You're basically losing torque by going to a lower gear, which is fine if you have bucket loads of it, but usually the desirable gear for an "i" motor (stroked or not) is a 4.10 LSD out of an M3.

4.10 for acceleration/street driving. Pretty shitty for highway as you will be revving alot higher.
But if you do not mind the high revs on the highway, id get the 4.10 for daily driver/street driving. Thats what im getting for my 325i in the spring.

Megasquirt is crap, don't waste your money. Get some real engine management.
