i ll give you a hit, use a layer mask, work in cmyk, use color curves, color change, and bump the dpi before you start working on it to 300, lower it when you do your final save. they look ok, but your selections are too big and they overlap the background a bit... Did you feather them?

the selections you made where you coloured the cars, they are bigger then the actual car, making it look like you coloured the car. Heres what to do;
make your selection, use bezier curves if you know how, if not, its ok, and feather it before you fill it , etc, its under... i don't remember where. Experiment with the feather tool, i find that 2 pixels works great but not always.If you feather wrong you can always undo, or simply fill it in, and use transform to resize it so its just right. I m sure you know how to work in layers, so i didn t mention that. Simply, it looks like you coloured the cars, and its a easy fix
