I am looking at this e30 m3...
Theres a guy in town here who will sell me his e30 M3 for 15k canadian...now the exterior of the car is in good shape.. i know nothing about the engine or anything, i only briefly talked to the guy.
Assuming everything checks out, how reasonable is the price he is offering me?

15k isnt bad, i usually see them go on trader from 15-19k.. all depends on condition and maintenance really

If you are serious about the car, take it to BMW.. have them perform a safety on the car and get ready for a shock. If ANYONE can pick out flaws and things that need to be replaced its the stealership.
If all that goes well, get a leakdown and compression test. It should all cost you about $150-$300 but you will know EVERY flaw with that car.

Price seems very reasonable for B.c. Can you find out any more info - mileage, year, etc?

That isn't a M3. It is a E30 so adjust your pricing. If they are telling you it is a M3 then say thanks.
Here is a E30 M3 notice fender flares and wing both stock.
