hey guys
have a quick question to ask
Does the M5 blacked out grille fit an E39 2001 530i or are they two different sizes ????

yea.. thats what he told me... im not sure.. its M5 wide style blacked out grille

I think they will fit because its not that the cut out in the M5 hood's is any different than the cut out's of a 530, its just that the outside of the grill overlaps onto the hood whereas the stock grill barely if at all overlaps onto the hood

It will fit, but the slits are positioned differently. The hood lift spring thingy will be rubbing on it. You'd be better off getting a 01+ 540 grills and getting them sprayed balck if you can't live with the rubbing. I've gotten used to it.
