blown radiator

the upper radiator hose connector of my 1990 535i blew off. is it in need of a replacement radiator, or can the connector be replaced? where are some places i can find a replacement radiator?

I noticed that there was a recall on the entire rad setup on 535s if it failed... it was made in 2001... If it didn't fail the cap was to be replaced with one that vents at lower pressure.

Try checking with the dealership...

Is it a 5 speed or a automatic, two different rads.

Very easy to install the rad as long as you can remove the fan clutch.

Price should be around 300 - 350 Cdn, don't buy the crappy brands.

yea i want a bohr and its a manual trans. i dont think my dealership would replace it for what i want to pay although i am a CCA member

installation is not a problem, i can do that myself. i just need the radiator
