Group B, crazy rallycars

A vid from the early -80` a time when there was no horsepower limits on rallycars (group B).

In this video: Lancia 037, Audi S1, Peugeot 205 T16, Renault 5 turbo.

This is unreal, how could they allow cars to have no power limit and allow people to stand inches from the cars? Obviously people would get hurt.

It's too bad that the spectators were that dumb and the association could not first regulate crowds, etc. I wish Group B was around. Those cars were awesome and I can't even imagine the evolutions that would be around today if it hadn't been banned.
