Fighting speeding tickets, or any traffic ticket. Excellent Link

http://www.magma.ca/~fyst/

Just found it yesterday while searching since I will be fighting my speeding ticket in a couple of months.

This should be made a sticky or put up in the FAQ. Amazing site, with amazing strategy and information.

Hope it helps.
Seb

I pleaded guilty with explanation, I heard that the judge/cops go easier on you if you plead not guilty. What if the cop will be there while I plead not guilty? This just boggles my mind, and it's why I didn't choose that option.

^ works now

Well read the site, it tells you what to do when you plead not guilty even if the cop shows up. There are a lot technicalities and legal rights that people dont even know about.

The biggest one, and I wish I knew this before having already gone in to postpone my trial is: you are legally entitled to a trial within a reasonable amount of time, 8 months. If your trial date is 8 months later than your offence date, a lot of the time you can have the charges thrown out simply due to that. Read the site, lot of useful info.

Yeah, I just recently fought off a red light ticket. I entered on amber and the ****ing cop said it was red, so I won. ****ers. $190 and 3-points, dismissed.
