SupoerCharger or Kompressor...I think that's better to put a Kompressor, right?

I think serie 7 like serie 5 work with supercharger or kompressor!
I have seen that the kompressor is more easy to apply.
Anyone here have a serie 5 or 7 with kompressor?

^^^ I was going to ask if Kompressor meant something else in Portugese...
Maybe they are referring to TURBO vs. SC?

Honestly, your best bet, and cheapest bet would be to drop a 2.5L or a 2.8L motor into your car. The motors all weigh the same, and when you go for your yearly inspection they are less likely to give you trouble because it will still look like you have the 2L motor in place.
A 2.8L motor with some work can give you about 250hp, ask me how I know You'd have to do an OBD1 conversion for the 2.8L though, but you can take the most of the parts off your stock 2L motor.

Heyyyy!!
What a nice ideia....
My mean to SuperCharger is Turbo... like 1BADRIDE says, Turbo VS SuperCharger that's the correct!
Turbo is a very hard work...The SC is the best way to give more power to motor...Other way is to put 2.8L, ehehehe!!
Btw...535i fits here?? Or only the 2.8L ???

The 3.5l doesn't make that much more... and is heavier.

Well, the 540i motor also fits, so does the 3.8L M5 motor if you have lots of $$.

Well, if you can find an alusil 4l V8, then that's the swap I'd want...
I'm struggling to find one out here (540 that is) in manual form, so I might end up getting a 535 anyways and doing the swap later...

WELL it is a DIY project...the compression rate was 8.5 in every cilynder and i had the resource to pump it up more tha 0.6 bar..according to my calculations it must be around 1 bar...the problems for now are untill 4.5 rpm don't have a problem up that barrier i have knocks ...i had my advance tested a million times and the only solution is a new ECU with the new parameters inside...only then the car will squeeze out her posibillities...new ecu with standard maps where you can make tests cost about 2000 euro the cheapest there is...it controls 2 injectors per cilinder , 5 bar max boost and 14000 rpm...ofcourse noone will squeeze it that much if you don't want the pistons get through the bonnet and ..u understand right??
