against de-badgin is winnig 100%!! YAY!!
but i think it also sorta depends on what sort of car you're driving.
if its really a total bottom of tha line....tehn go for it. then u can put some new rims and it'll look all good, unless u have grey bumpers..

i'd say if u'r purely going for the clean look, do it
if u just dun want ppl to know which model u'r driving then forget it, there's nothing wrong having the total bottom of the line... it's still a BMW afterall

If I had a lower model bmw, I wouldn't.. But if I had a higher model like an m3... Id take the badge off and be a sleeper.

To each his own.........

I personally pulled my 328is badge and an ///M badge the previous owner put on the driver's side when the car was still being driven in europe.

I de-badged my car like 6 years ago.... but now I'm thinking about sticking on a 318i badge for unsuspecting 'stangs etc...

I'm for debadging as long as its just the number, if you remove the Roundels you should be "debadged" yourself.

I debadged my 325i the day i brought it home from the dealer. I thought it looked out of place. I just wanted the roundels on the car and thats it. It's not like any of my friends know the difference between my 325i and a 318 etc anyways...to them it's just another ''beamer''...i still can't convince them it's ''bimmer'' though

Randy,

your car is intimidating enough to scare off ricers....make it better, add a 316i to it.
you see plenty of those aroung in hong kong
