Why is that your getting rid of the LTW's again? I know you said but I forget. Just the fact that you have an original set would make me want to keep them.

"Hey looking to trade my 18x8.5 Fittipaldi rims with Nitto NT555 rubber 235/40/18 all around. Im looking to trade for a nice set of 17 inch rims/tires plus cash or a set of LTW's with rubber str8 up. A local trade would be nice but I wont mind shipping these out. My tires have about 90% tread life left in them. Please pm me with offers."

Maybe you need to decide if the car is really a track car, or if you are just going for the track look. Im not trying to be rude or smart here, but I'm just I don't think you can have both effectively.
I see there as being these options.
A) street car
B) street car that you track occasionally and mods are 30% track oriented
C) street car that you track often and mods are 60% track oriented
D) track car that you drive on the street with 90% of mods being track oriented
E) track car

Right now my car is at B, but I am gradually moving further towards C.

If you want the car to look hot and have that track car feel that is one thing, and things like wheel weight and quality probably don't matter too much. But if you are serious about tracking the car, then it does matter alot.

If it was me I, and I had a car with a stripped interior, with racing seats, and a cage going in, it would seem as though it was going to be a D on my little scale, and as such I would keep the LTW's.

No offence intended, as I know it seems like I question your motives with the car often, but I think deciding where you want the car to go will answer a lot of your questions. Just my 2 cents.

i would also cassify myself as a "d" when im done

however i dont want to drive my track rims on the street i want R compounds which will get chewed up on the street, i would like a set of track rims and nice cruise rims for the street driving

i agree LTW's are much more pratical then those 18" but i dont want to track my car till i feel safe in it, and thats roll cage, new shocks springs, body mounts, ect and the look of the LTW's is really boring me so i feel i can dump them get a set to nice cruise rims and when im ready to track it, buy another set of rims, ones more thrashed and suited for the track

to sum it up, the rims are in good enough shape that ide rather see them on a nice crusin car then me beat then into nothing at that track,

ide rather sell get monies worth and buy nice cruiser rims then spend next to nothing on a pair of used thrashed beatin chipped LTW'S for the track at a fraction of the price
