Jack and jackstands for a lowered car. Where to get?
Im looking for jackstands for my car, I checked Canadian tire and even the lowest jack stands are too high for me. Anyone know where to get shorter ones?

Vlad it woould be much cheaper if you got a couple of 2x4 planks, roll your car on top & than jack up your car with a normal jack

My jack barely fits, where the jack pad is. I have to jack each side in the front, put a couple bricks/pieces of wood under the front wheels, the jack of the front by the front subframe. Lower the front onto jack stands at the jack pads, then go jack up the rear by the rear subframe (no brick/wood needed). If I need the car really high, then I go back to the front and rejack as high as it will go, and again at the back.

When my 240sx had coilovers on it to jack it up i used to have to drive up on some bricks. Ghetto but it saved me from having to buy a new jack unless you have the money kicking around to buy one just try that. 2X4 would work to depending on how low your car is my car was too low and I needed something a lttle higher. Good luck

2 ways:
1) use the ramp like one shown made out of 2x4 from Homedepot.
2) buy proper jacks from Sears, they have one specially made for really low vehicles. It's about $150, its expensive, but well worth it.
me: too cheap to buy the jack so I jack my friend's when he's not looking.
