holy smoke!! that guy realy good or his car was really fast!!!! he was passing like crazy!! .. and whatta hell is that noise form the gearbox?!!

Sequential box's sound like that for whatever reason. I guess thats why street car's don't have them. Not to mention the insane cost.

97+ EURO SPEC e36 M3
E46 M3
E60 M5
Z4
330c/i
545i

Yep, straight cut gears, same reasons why many cars make gear noise in reverse, but not in first (straight cut vs. non-straight cut)
