testing ur speedometer

does any 1 know how to test ur speedo? i know its suumin to do when the ignition is on and u hold one of the buttons on the cluster down then ur speedo and rev counter go all the way across. thanx!!

nazm:

take the key out of your ignition
hold down the tripometer button on your dashboard until it lights up... hold it down.
put the key to POS 1
let go of tripometer button
