Caliper seized?

Well i am sure some of you have read my previous posts about the winter tune up....

I ran into some trouble last night after replacing my front brakes.

I put in brand new rotors/brake pads up front and after taking the car out for a spin my driver's side caliper seems to be seized. After driving around for 5 minutes the car started to smell like something was burning. Upon further inspection i saw a bit of smoke coming from the front driver's side wheel. I let it cool down and off i went again. The smoking/smell wasn't as bad as it was initially but it was still there. The car also doesn't coast in Neutral as easy. I am pretty worried that i might warp the brand new will i need a new caliper, or is this common with E30s? What should i do?

I woudnt say a siezed calliper is common on any car!!! If it smokes/smells, then you have issues....I say replace the calliper before you fu#k up the new rotor/pads...

Get the caliper checked out by a mechanic you trust. He will tell you if it is the problem or not. If it is toast you can get rebuilt calipers cheap.
