E30 Reiger install outcome

Had my rieger rear bumper installed and it looks good except for one thing.

There is a 3/4 inch gap in between the horizontal rear of the bumper and where it meets the frame of vehicle. The gap spans from the left lens to the right lens. Other then that, it looks good.

Any suggestions on how to fill that small gap? I was thinking of cutting out hard foam and spray painting it black.

Any other ideas?

which re-bars are you using? If they're from the '89> newer, then you shouldn't have a gap. The Rieger kit comes with enough extra material there to cover the '86 aluminum bumpers... I had to trip my bumper to fit the new rebars.

I'm using the 89 rebar with shocks. Randy, I'll have to post a picture to show you exactly what I mean
