New 5er is awesome. Active steering is a joy to have. The i-drive isn't even that difficult to use and it's not like you have to use it. You can do almost everything you want with the buttons, so I don't understand the constant shitting on it. Plus it looks so sexy and looks way better than the E39 5er. Seats are comfy and like 1000 way adjustable and streering wheel can go damn near anywhere. Plus when you're actually driving it, oh man is it fun. Tap that gas and it takes off like a rocket.
