After reading that I think I'd still prefer the 5er, but for the first time in history I actually had to think about it. The competition is finally getting it. Now we just need BMW's sales to slump consistently and they may be forced to listen to the enthusiasts again.

they ****ed up the STS, i saw some prototype drawings, and they looked pimp, but, no, there they go, ****ing up yet another possibly pimp car, the last gen sts was amazing, i always loved it, this one really reminds me of the G35 sedan

Totally agree, the old STS was so much nicer, when I looked at this car for the first time I was like.. "WTF is that" It looks like they just made a variation of the CTS. Of all the new caddy designs, the STS is by far the worst.
Honestly, who gives the "OK" for these new car designs??

Yeah, who the hell let Bangle realease the attrocities? It is clearly visible that the E39 evolved from the E34, which evolved from the E28, but then it's like "BAM MOFO!" and the E60 was born, with absolutely no BMW heritage and ****ed up styling. The interior looks as cheap as a ****ing honda!! All plastic!! When the dumbasses in Munich start listening to enthusiasts again (hopefully soon) they will change back to Old School Bimmer styling. After all, old school is real cool

The new 545 hauls some serious ass. 102 mph trap is hardcore.

The 5er looks better then the caddy by FAR... and i also think that the 5er handles better then the CADDY... When BMW had a 5er test drive, where it compared itself to the Benz, audi and jag wow... the 5er was very good and active steering isnt that hard to get use to... its actually better lets u do less work while driving and enjoy ur ride... IMO

Yeah, those journalists are dumbasses. It take 10 minutes of driving around town to get used to and adapt to the auto shifting. It's pretty sweet how the automatic drives exactly like you would drive a stick. Pedal to the metal and it shifts at redline, and in sport mode it downshift aggressively, pretty sweet for off ramps. But the looks are what suck.
